Browser Wars I

Posted December 22nd, 2007 by SEO Class Admin

As as SEO, I advise clients to make sure their sites are valid clean XHTML code and use CSS.  But they are often caught between the crossfire of their browsers and end up having to spend much too long in doing this and sometimes are not even willing to try and enter this battle.  Browser wars have been going on for many years now, and since styles are evolving and technologies are improving and changing it is difficult to reach consensus from the two sides.

As SEOClass.org we plan to play a major role in negotiations and in trying to bring a peace accord into place between both Mozilla and Microsoft.  We plan to meet at  Camp David to sign the first part of this treaty.

We are working hard to convince both parties to work hard towards a compromise on the disputed territory between  various ares of CSS.  Regarding the explicit alignment of divs we are reaching some agreement, but hope to find an amicable resolution soon.

Internet Explorer has been easier to work with in negotiations regarding alignment, but Firefox seems to need explicit instructions in this arena.

According to resolutions of the United Webmasters we urge all parties to reach an agreement as soon as possible and not to resume their programs of mass distortion and their alleged webmaster torture camps.  We are urging all parties to cease their proliferation of code intended to crash browsers and we urge the world wide web community to put pressure on browsers that attempt to undermine the internet.

We call for a unilateral end to the browser wars and a speedy signing of a browser peace agreement by both parties.
